Paperville
Working alongside photographer Frankie Turner and paper artist Mel Edwards, I created these highly detailed interpretations of American “duck architecture,” building a miniature world entirely from food and paper.
Working to Mel’s vision, we collaborated on each design element to do justice to the history and visual identity of such a groundbreaking moment in US culture. I handmade every food item, with particular attention focused on the ‘Frank’s Donut’ shop.
“The project panned out smoothly thanks to the excellent planning of Frankie and Maud.”
It was a once-in-a-lifetime project to be part of and you can read more about how it came about here.
